Let’s talk about compost.

It’s made of scraps, leftovers, and even things that feel like waste — dead leaves, coffee grounds, vegetable peels, even manure. When all those things are just thrown together without intention — no boundaries, no balance — it stinks. Literally. It becomes a hot mess.
And maybe that’s what your life feels like right now:
-
Everything’s been tossed in together.
-
You’ve said yes to too much.
-
Your time, energy, and thoughts are scattered.
-
You’re running on fumes, unsure of what’s still serving you and what needs to go.
But here’s the thing about compost:
When handled with care, it becomes fertilizer.
When you take time to sort through it — to separate the useful from the harmful, to layer things in the right order, and to let the right conditions do their work — it transforms. It becomes nutrient-rich soil, the very thing that helps new life grow.
It’s a holy kind of intention.
It reminds me of Luke 14:28 — “For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?”
Before we build a meaningful, purpose-filled life, we have to pause.
We have to sort through the scraps.
We have to count the cost.
We have to decide what we want to carry forward and what needs to be released.
Because when we do — what once was chaos becomes soil.
And soil is what causes plants to flourish.
That’s exactly what I help women do in my coaching practice.
